Actuator Back Up Power Supply

The Series BUPS Backup Power Supply is an inverter system that stores energy in a sealed maintenance-free battery. When a 120-vac power loss occurs, this stored energy will be converted to 120-vac to drive the customer's existing electric actuator to a "Fail Safe" position or to continue modulating for a period of time in order to accomplish an orderly shutdown of a process. This power system can be used with any 120-vac /1 Ph /60-Hz (optional voltages available) electric gear driven actuator such as Limitorque, E.I.M., AUMA, Bettis, RCS, Automax and others. The Series BUPS is suitable for use on both linear, quarter-turn and multi-turn actuators. Optional three-phase applications are available.
