ATI Acquires Gevalco

Automation Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of valve automation products and solutions, has acquired Gevalco, which specializes in pipeline valve automation.  Gevalco has been in business for sixteen years and has successfully built a brand name for customer service, unique valve automation solutions, and a focus on ensuring pipeline safety in the community.

Specifically, Gevalco markets and manufactures valve actuators (severe service), line-break control systems, hydraulic power units, station bypass, and emergency shutdown systems.

Automation Technology, Inc. will now be able to offer a more complete range of valve automation products and solutions.

ATI CEO Cooper Etheridge commented, “While ATI has primarily addressed the needs of industrial facilities, the addition of Gevalco will allow us to also address the needs of the energy transportation industry. Natural gas pipelines require the type of flow control solutions that Gevalco provides and we believe that sector is growing.”

Gevalco president and valve automation expert, Dave Wheatley, will join ATI as its new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Etheridge notes, “We are honored to have someone with so much industry experience join our team.”
