Limit Switches

ATI offers a full array of limit and proximity switches to meet any application requirement. The switches are rigidly attached to the actuator bracket using custom-designed switch brackets. The rigid construction ensures accurate reading of the valve travel limits even in the harshest conditions.

For close coupled applications, where the piston rod is applying force directly to a valve or damper there may not be space to allow for conventional switches triggered by a tail rod or valve coupler. In this case, ATI offers fiberglass cylinders with magnets triggered by the piston movement inside the cylinder. Alternatively, an LVDT could be used.
