ISO 9001:2008 certification and Pressure Equipment Directive accreditation
Automation Technology, Inc. the global leader in customized valve automation, announces that it has become ISO 9001:2008 certified and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) accredited. ISO 9001:2008 is recognized by organizations worldwide as a quality management standard. The certification covers all processes related to ATI products and services in customized actuators, controls and power systems. The PED was adopted into all European national pressure equipment codes and ordinances, and represents one uniform law for pressure equipment being sold in the European Community. The PED accreditation certifies that ATI operates a quality system in accordance with the directive as we expand into more specialized European markets where the accreditation is required.
Its Impact
These certifications are a logical step along ATI’s growth path, which began in 1995 and recently expanded operations to the United Kingdom. “From the beginning, ATI has focused on designing, manufacturing and delivering top-quality customized valve automation equipment,” said ATI CEO, Cooper Etheridge. “As client success continues to fuel our growth around the world, it’s even more imperative to maintain and continuously improve organizational processes.”
